This phone remind us of their previous Sony Ericsson P990i late years ago. This newly introduced Sony Ericsson Aspen is the newest from the previous successor of P990i, P1, but without the QWERTY keypad. Sony Ericsson Aspen caught our attention as this is the first smartphone to run on Windows Mobile 6.5.3, the latest update of Windows Mobile version.

Due to inconsistent navigation, lack touch capacitive touch screen and multi touch as well as outdated UI in certain location and sluggish performance of Windows Mobile 6.5, this new Windows Mobile 6.5.3 which leaked couple of months ago with refreshed UI, it is certainly looks great and will going to fix the 6.5 version.

Beside the polished UI, the Windows Mobile 6.5.3 will also bring new features such capacitive touch screen with multi-touch capability, IE performance tweaking. As for Sony Ericsson Aspen, it is a very sleek design touchsreen smartphone with QWERTY keypad for business taste.
